OmniJoy Kickstarting Soon!

We have been working to develop an open source, handheld, battery operated multi-function controller powered by a Raspberry Pi Zero.  Here’s a quick feature list:

  • Dimmable 3.5″ 480×320 TFT with resistive touchscreen
  • Two analog joysticks
  • Two shoulder scrolling switches
  • 5-way navigation switch
  • 6 pushbutton switches
  • Symmetric design for righties or lefties
  • Arduino compatible co-processor for real time I/O
  • Drawing up to 0.4 amps, two 18650 batteries provide a long run time
  • On-board 1A charge circuit for ease of use
  • Spare IO broken out to 0.1″ headers
  • On board audio
  • Full size USB-A connector for connecting external devices
  • Compact size and simple construction
  • Ergonomic grip allows for one handed operation
  • 3d printable or fancy wooden grips
